Laura Fehres - designer
I am Laura Fehres, born and raised in Germany, in a city near Mainz with spanish roots from Bilbao from my mother's side.
2019 I started to study at the fashion design university "Hochschule Trier", where I graduated 2023 with my Bachelor of Arts. In 2022 I studied abroad in Madrid, that aligned me more with my spanish roots. It was always a dream of mine to live in Spain, where I feel more like home, so I decided to move back to Madrid and build my fashion label - B Lauf {be love} in honor of my Amama Begoña, who will always be in my heart and the heart of this brand.
My first experience in the fashion industry, I got in 2014 at an internship at the Anja Gockel fashion studio in Mainz, where I got the first impressions what it means to be working as a fashion designer and their daily tasks. At la mode abyssale by Helen Bender in 2018, I gained my first knowledge about evening gowns, bridal dresses and festive suits as the designer specializes on bridal garments for lesbian couples. The internship I did 2022, in my year abroad was at Habey Club in Madrid. There I increased my knowledge of how to build a brand and towards marketing.
