In this project the focus was on creating a costume for the opera "Sonnenflammen" of Siegfried Wagner (Bayreuth, August 2020), where traditional techniques are combined with innovative fashion and sustainability. 

I inspired myself  by the Romantic ers dominated by the upcoming industrialisation and the desire for nature. To depict that contrast I used car tubes as symbol for the factories and synthetic flowers with embroideried leaves on soft satin symbolizing the yearning for nature.
